The Kilkenny International Gospel Choir Festival Welcomes You
Kilkenny Gospel Choir has through many years of touring and performance recognised a need for a forum for Gospel Choirs in which to exchange ideas, music and performance. We feel that Kilkenny provides the ideal venue for such a Festival. It is for this reason that we organised the Kilkenny International Gospel Choir Festival.
After a very successful inaugural International Gospel Choir Festival in 2012, where we presented Adrian ‘Fro’ Johnston;the renowned Gospel rapper from the USA; Dr. Eddie Jones from the University of Arkansas, and Grayson Warren Brown the internationally known liturgical composer, author, recording artist and speaker. We are delighted to announce the Second Kilkenny International Gospel Choir Festival “A Summer of Inspirational Gospel Music”.
There will be a series of events throughout the summer months, commencing June 14th to 16th http://kilkennygospelchoirfestival.com/programme/
The Festival is open to all choirs, especially Gospel choirs, and all lovers of music. The are a series of workshops and performances, so there is certainly something for everyone to enjoy
